Yesterday at Waterfall Resort, Kayathang Rumtek a constituency level meeting and welcome programme was organised by the CLEC team of the SDF party under 24- Martam Rumtek Constituency. The meeting was chaired by Smt. Malika Rai (V.President, Panchayat Cell.)
Before the start of the meeting the CLEC body welcomed the new members who had officially joined the SDF party at Makha leaving SKM & CAP Party The members namely Mr.Padam Sharma,Mr. Roshan Chettri, Mr. Sonam Gyasto Bhutia, Senior member Mr.Mon Hari Upreti & Mr.C.B Chettri were welcomed. And further the team congratulated the newly appointed dignitaries for the Election Campaign Committee namely Mr. Bijay Pradhan as Chairman,(DWC President Gangtok Dist)Mr. Sharad Kharka as Vice Chairman(Gen.Secretay Incharge Gangtok Dist) and Mr. Namgyal Bhutia as Sanyozak(Gen.Secretary Organisation East Dist)for the upcoming election.
The brief speeches were presented by newly joined members assuring their full support to work together following the mission Sikkim Bachau Abhiyan 2.0 under the guidance of Hon’ble Party President at state level and CLEC President at constituency level.
During the course of meeting Mr. Sharad Kharka read out and highlighted the message of the Hon’ble Party President. The meeting further proceeded for the nomination of the campaign leader under various fronts under the guidance of Mr. Bijay Pradhan (Chairman. ECC).
The chairperson of the meeting Smt.Malika Rai also addressed the meeting and appealed to all the members to work sincerely and with discipline by taking party first under the shed of Umbrella.
